Clean

Resent twitter posts

  • Hello,

    I'm using the widget "Resent twitter posts" in a customized clean theme, but I don't know how to translate the structure of the tweet shown. I'm from Spain and the web is written in Spanish, so I need to translate the message "about XXX days ago we said, " at the beginning of each message.

    Can you help me?

  • Hello

    I've followed for this. It doesn't have translation ability and requires little manually changes on script file.
    So please open up the js/jquery.tweet.js file and find down relative_time function (about the line 81).
    It has static texts and update it with your Spanish text.

    Thanks
  • Partially solved, thank you very much. The beginning is correctly displayed "about XX days ago", but although i changed the "auto_join_text_" vars at the beginning of query.tweet.js with the correct spanish values, when applied since line 135

    if (s.join_text == "auto") {

    it is not correctly taking the values defining at the definitivos of the vars. :(

    So, the we said, we replied an so on are still in English.
  • You have changed default values but it sets again and overwritten from another section :)

    You should open up the includes/widgets/twitter_widget.php file.
    Then you can see initialling of twitter scripts.

    Thanks
  • Works fine, thank you very much!
