All Testimonials Showing, not rotating

On the homepage, the testimonials aren’t rotating, they are all displaying at the same time. I recently updated to the latest version of the theme. I tried deactivating all other plugins, but the issue remained.

You most likely have a permissions issue, it cannot find the theme files:

Ensure that all of your theme files have 755/777 permissions and are accessible.

thanks. turned out to be a setting in a security plugin (sucuri / hardening / wp-content)

other security settings do not allow directory browsing which is why you got 404’s as those were all set to 755
