I need to create custom travel options that are displayed in the “carousel Travel” Now the options are hotel, duration and person. What i have achieved so far is that if have created a “Travel test” option which seems to be working fine. However in the carousel the new option is not displayed. The question is how can i display the custom field option instead of one of the default values? Ex : Hotel ,Custom_value , Duration

You can see the file from your theme folder. Go to the includes’s VC element file. Inside the VC element file, there is  a file called carousel-travel.php. Please see the screen shot #135.

Indeed, hotel, duration, person are not custom field. They are travel portfolio post’s option which exist below travel portfolio posts(Please see the screen shot #214). To display the new option in the carousel, you need to do some modification inside the carousel-travel.php file and other parts.

You have to open your local website folder to change the inlcudes/vc-elements/carousel-travel.php
