There’s just one thing that I’d like to implement but don’t know how.

On the index page (of http://buqgroup.com/ ) there’s brand logos that expand when you click on them and show more info. about that specific brand. This works really well. The only thing I want to change is –

The images of the people I have on the index page (inserted to break up the page and give a nicer feel to the website) should be static where the user can’t click on the images. It’d be good if I could take away the zoom feature on these images as well. I’ve tried a few things but they either don’t work or they make all the boxes un-clickable. Is there any easy fix to this? Would it be easy to create a script that allows the user when creating a portfolio item to have an on/off button that allowed the on/off ability of clicking on the box for more information (or no information as desired).

I had someone look at it and they tried the code below but it didn’t work. This is the only thing I need to implement on the site now and any help would be much appreciated

Your site looks beautiful. Luckily we’ve an option for that. Please just open your post and add your custom link on the option.

The custom link isn’t what I’m looking for though. I’m wanting the images of people to be un-clickable.
Is there a custom link that I could use that means the person on the site wouldn’t be able to click on the images of people?

We used about:blank before in the custom link but it just brought up a blank window.

Generally all the thumbnails are posts, but you don’t need to link them to anywhere and non clickable. I’ll discuss about it to my developer and give you a solution soon.

Please stay tuned my reply

It’s just the posts that are just images we want to have un-clickable. It’s so that the page is broken up a bit and more interesting than just the company logos.

Just need an example to go off to change functionality (with front-end only hopefully, don’t like changing the theme files themselves)

Circled images in pink are the ones to be not clickable. I’ll try the patch.

Thanks!

I’ve tried creating one manually and with a couple of plugins and all the options come up with an error? I didn’t want to add the patch to the original theme incase of any future updates… but I can’t seem to create a child theme.
