    Hi

Can someone please confirm if this is working? I’m still having issues with this and don’t really want to copy random code into my base code to sort out bug fixes. Should this not be included in a formal update of the theme?

    Regards

    Hi Landon

Thank you for the reply. To be honest though the support turnaround for these themes is just to too slow to enable people to address issues in a timely manner and we’ve opted to make use of the NextGen gallery plugin – it provides us with the functionality we need and took about an hour to implement.

    This call can be closed.

    Thanks

    Yup

I was afraid that would be the advise. I will do this however PLEASE NOTE – can you clarify exactly what needs to be done and if it would impact other aspects of the theme to make this work BEFORE we go any further. I don’t want to run too many risks.

If I’m comfortable with the suggested changes I will arrange the required backups etc. to be made an coordinate with you on the changes.

    Thanks

    Hi BJ

I am willing to try your suggested solution – could you perhaps tell me what you will need to do to get this working? I don’t want to run the risk of messing up our whole site as we have a deadline on this. Would you be able to reset the changes you make if it doesn’t work?

    Please let me know

    Hi BJ

Thanks for the nice explanation and the video – it makes sense. I will try to have a look at this tonight but your suggestion makes sense. Do you think we could try it on a test page just to see how it works? Or do you need to change some of the base CSS to enable this?

If we can test it then I can decide if it would suit our needs!

    Thank you very much

    Hi BJ

I don’t think I understand completely what you mean by the above suggestion. I understand the thinking behind a slider but would it not be better to allows users to choose whether they want it this way or not? It seems a lot of the “ease of use” promised by the theme is not that easy in real life at all.

In essence I want people to be able to click on the portfolio item, have it open up as LightBox and then be able to navigate through the images included in the portfolio item gallery.

So I guess my issue is still why the Pimp demo can bring up a LightBox but we can’t do it on our own sites. I am willing to try your suggestion but only on some testing page (and if it doesn’t require a bunch of code changes) so as not to mess up what I currently have. Otherwise it seems I will need to resort to the Photo Gallery plugin to get this sorted.

    Let me know

I guess I would also like to know if there is another way to display the gallery on a portoflio items (apart from the above issue). It seems the gallery is put into the revslider control which I don’t really want as it condenses the photos. Do I need a separate plugin for this? Again it seems to be straigh forward on the demo but no luck when trying it out live on my own site!

    Cheers

Please find attached the files – upload size was issue (would be good if it states this somewhere!)

    Hi Morten

I want to use the icons that came default with the theme eg fa-envelope / fa-phone / fa-map-marker but in a larger size than they dispay by default. You can have a look at http://nerizeraath.co.za/contact/ for instance. The icons next to contact details are what I’m referring to – in that context I might want to make them bigger or smaller.

    Thanks for your patience!

    Hi Morton

I’m not entirely sure where I should change the size. Should I change the actuall css class or simply the <span> tags? It’s the icons in general that you can add via the TT shortcode in element. Essentially I want to add social media icons in the page but want them to appear bigger than what I get by default. Hope this makes sense?!

    Thanks
