We are looking for a skilled and motivated WordPress Theme Developer to join our growing team at Themeton. You will be responsible for building, customizing, and maintaining high-quality WordPress themes used by customers worldwide. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys clean code, modern design standards, and performance-focused development.
Responsibilities
- Develop premium WordPress themes following modern UI and UX standards
- Customize and extend themes using PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Work closely with designers to convert Figma or PSD designs into functional themes
- Ensure themes are fully responsive, fast, and cross-browser compatible
- Optimize themes for performance, SEO, and accessibility
- Maintain clean, reusable, and well-documented code
- Fix bugs, improve existing products, and support new feature development
Requirements
- Strong experience with WordPress theme development
- Proficiency in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery
- Experience working with Elementor or other page builders
- Solid understanding of WordPress hooks, actions, filters, and theme structure
- Familiarity with responsive design and cross-browser testing
- Basic knowledge of SEO and performance optimization
- Ability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently
Nice to Have
- Experience developing products for ThemeForest or similar marketplaces
- Knowledge of Gutenberg block development
- Familiarity with Git or version control systems
- Understanding of modern UI design principles
