Okay sir I got the issue. Visual composer understands empty options as non set and reverts them to default. Your space trick is very helpful and solves. But I’ll look for the solution and keep update the theme.

I was able to work around it, using the info from the attached screenshot.

at this point, i’m mostly submitting this for your information.  hopefully you can fix this glitch for your next theme version release.  although i was able to resolve it, i’d say that most folks would be left very confused… and unable to resolve the issue.
